Abbie Ann Carroll was born July 28, 1952, to George and Carolyn Stuart of Superior. She left this world on May 18, 2024.
She was an eternally happy and mischievous soul. She spent her early years in Superior and Manitowoc, WI. On November 11, 1978, she married Michael Carroll, and they spent the rest of her life together. She spent many years in Superior, WI before settling in El Paso, TX. She later relocated to Colorado Springs to be with her loved ones.
Abbie loved unconditionally, and her home and hugs were a refuge to many. She loved her Blaine Elementary kids like her own. Her faith and love of Jesus never wavered. She was a member of the Central Assembly of God and later the First Covenant Church in Superior. In her later years she was an enthusiastic member of Christ is the Answer.
Abbie treasured being a mom and a grandma above all else. She was a die-hard Packer fan and was known for yelling “Go Pack Go!”
Reunited with her in heaven is her mother Carolyn Stuart-Roe, father George Stuart, brothers Duane Graves, and George Stuart Jr. She is survived by her sister Caroline (Frank) Stuart-Harshfield, husband Michael Carroll, son Joshua Carroll, daughters Sarah (Jeff) Mayne, Elizabeth (Antwan) Powell, Siri Papberg, grandchildren Devin, Brandon, Kaylee, Eve, Alexis, Logan, Terrianna, Lillianna, and Jewlianna.
A celebration of life will be held July 7, 2024, from 1-4pm at the Belgian Club, 3931 E 2nd St, in Superior, WI. Abbie requested Tie-dyed apparel be worn if possible.
The family would like to thank Simply Cremation of Colorado Springs, and all of the caretakers, medical team, dialysis staff, and wonderful friends who took care of Abbie.
