In loving memory of Carrie Irene Taylor, age 94, who passed quietly in her sleep on March 22, 2026 with her loving niece Robin McGee at her side. She is survived by her daughter Karen Heinrich, Florida, and her brother Lloyd DeMarr, Maryland along with lot’s of nieces and nephews stretching from Alaska back to Maryland.
Carrie was a strong Baptist and fiercely independent. She cared for her son Donald until his death in 2023. As she aged, a couple of falls caused lasting injuries resulted in the loss of her independence.
Carrie earned her way through life as a beautician, school bus driver, secretary, elder care giver, and landlord. We thank God for welcoming her home to be with the family that she loved and missed. Those she left behind have sent prayers for her to find lasting peace and happiness.
Per Carrie’s request she was cremated and final arrangements will be determined following her guidance. The family appreciates friends thoughts and prayers and asks for privacy at this time as Carrie said, “I do not need people fussing over me, I’m where I’m supposed to be”.
