In Loving Memory of Cherry Albo Tucker
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Cherry Albo Tucker, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Cherry departed this world on April 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will be carried forward by those who knew and cherished her. Cherry was preceded in death by her parents, Philbert "Bert", (Angie) Albo, and Ruth (Ted) Martinez; her siblings Albert (Vickie) Albo, Randy (Theresa) Albo, Nick Albo, and Donna Jean Albo; and her beloved daughter, Ruthie A. Serrano. Though she is now reunited with them in eternal rest, she remains deeply missed by those who survive her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Rich Tucker; stepsons Brian (Mary Jo) Tucker and Aaron (Ashley) Tucker; son-in-law Enrique Serrano; brother Don Martinez; sisters Cheryl (David) Rivera, Tami Albo, and Alexsis Albo; and Goddaughters Brenda (Manuel) Albo and Selina (James) Forney. Cherry’s heart was filled with love for her grandchildren Mark, James, Joseph, and Philip, as well as her great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who will continue to honor her memory.
Cherry was a woman of remarkable faith, courage, and unwavering strength. Cherry worked at Rocky Greyhound Racetrack for over 30 years, retiring in 2008.Through life’s trials, she stood tall, offering love, guidance, and resilience to all who relied on her. Her faith provided her with the strength to face challenges with grace, and her unwavering belief in hope and love uplifted all who knew her. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy, and her impact will live on in the stories shared, the
memories cherished, and the love that continues to grow in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A service to celebrate Cherry’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that monetary donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Cherry’s honor, continuing her legacy of love and compassion.
May she rest in peace, forever surrounded by love.
