Dorothy Mae Odom was born in West Virginia and spent much of her young adult life in Detroit, Michigan. This is where she met and married Don Bayhan and lived until 1973, when they relocated to Huntington Beach, California. They remained there until Don’s passing in 2016, at which time Dorothy moved to Colorado Springs.
Dorothy had a wide variety of interests, including golf, gardening, sewing and games. She had a wonderful smile and a quick wit, endearing herself to all.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Don, her mother, Oletha Shawver Ortmann, her sister Terry Roach, and her great grandson, Dylan.
She is survived by her four children: Dennis, Donna, David and Daniel; Her daughter in laws Kathy and Denise, and son in law Matthew; and her eight grandchildren: Zachary, Thomas, Ryan, Lynn, Donald James, Justin, Chance and Zachary. She has four great grand daughters.
We all will miss her dearly!
