Frankie Charles Winston

Celebrating the life of Frankie Charles Winston. He was born in Brookhaven, Mississippi to the late Mazie V. and Charles H. Winston. 

Frankie is survived by and deeply missed by brother Reginald (Marguerite), sister Ronda (Ralph), brother in law Marshall Gadlin, Stepson Bradley (Ebony) James, nephews Timothy, and Michael (Trisha) Gadlin, Vincent (Tanya), Damien, Marcus Winston, nieces Courtney (Willie), Jamie (John),  Ashley, and Amber, and cherished by grandnephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Connie and brothers Gary and Derrick.  

Frankie with over 40 years’ experience in all phases of funeral service, had a heart and compassion for servicing families.  Resident of Colorado Springs since 1973 when his family moved here from Greece.  Frankie graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1993 as a licensed mortician.  He was known and widely respected throughout the Colorado Springs community where he has cared for and touched so many families, providing professional and compassionate funeral services.  Upon his passing he owned and operated Simply Cremation.  Frankie leaves behind so many memories that will be cherished by friends, family, and all that knew and loved him.
