Golda May Wofford
July 31, 1952 – April 18, 2020
There is so much that could be said about Golda May Wofford, and first I will call her mom.
These words are likely for those who do not know her rather than those who do.
I will share just a few thoughts that will provide a brief context of mom.
She is family and friend to many people and sets a standard for others to strive to be there when needed.
She chose to be a great influence in her church community always seeking to share and represent her faith and commitments to it.
Even though she has had more struggles in life and health than many will ever, she never stopped helping and giving to others.
Mom is quite likely the strongest woman I will ever know.
She is already missed immensely, but her life will be celebrated rather than mourned because she is an overwhelmingly positive influence that has helped shape who I am today.
She will remain a part of us while we carry on.
