Jamilee Marie Cardwell, 35 years old, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on June 14, 2026, leaving her family and friends heartbroken. She was born on August 6,1990, to Christopher and Jennifer Cardwell, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Jami was an artist and animator that was followed and loved by hundreds of friends.
She loved all animals, especially her beloved bunnies, and spending time with her family and friends. Her strength and determination, independence, sense of humor, drawings and animations, kindness, stood as an example to all who were blessed to know her. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and welcomed. Anyone who knew her was immediately her friend without question. Jami was a graduate of Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, Denver, Colorado.
Jamilee will be sorely missed and is survived by her father Christopher and mother Jennifer Cardwell; sister, Christy Cardwell; brother Jason Cardwell, her partner Josh Speckhals, Grand Parents Lee and Marie Jenniges, Colorado Springs and Cathy Luna of Greeley, Co. and her bunny, Lilah. Jamilee was truly one of a kind and will never be forgotten but forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She lived her life to the fullest extent, the way she wanted to, and never looked back.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rescue Bunnies Society, an organization that Jamilee felt strongly about.
