In Loving Memory of Janell Florence Audette

Jan Audette, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2024, at the age of 84.

Janell was born on Nov 10, 1939, in Harvey, North Dakota.  She spent her years as a Registered Dietitian in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Colorado. She was a passionate advocate for those in need and for the arts. Her love for the theatre, music, and literature was contagious, and she inspired many with her creativity and zest for life.

Janell was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Alnora Rawleigh, brothers Jim and Ron, and eldest daughter, Jeanne Marie. She is survived by her loving children: two daughters, Lisa and Joelle, and one son, Kenneth and wife Linette. Her memory will also be cherished by her six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous friends and extended family members.

A memorial service to celebrate Janell’s life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Monument, CO on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Church directly, or to Colorado Public Radio, reflecting her lifelong passion and commitment to Jesus and the arts.

Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janell’s legacy of love and creativity will live on in our hearts forever.
