Kodiak Yamaha Pike

Kodiak (Kody) Yamaha Pike - of Colorado Springs CO, passed unexpectedly on July 14, 2023. He was the son of Kevin Pike (Joyce) of Norway, ME and Diana Carter Pike (Peter Orr) of Pueblo, CO. Kody was born on May 4, 1994, at Ft. Carson, Colorado. He loved Colorado and all that the mountains and forests had to offer. He worked in forestry and his goal was to become an arborist. Kody had a love of animals, rescuing many cats from trees and was the owner of Shady, Lela, and Kato, his beloved dogs. Kody is survived by his parents, his sister, Becky McCray, his nephews, Daejon and Dakai McCray. He also leaves behind his 4 stepbrothers, Danny, Scott, Tom and Jesse, and nieces and nephew, Mila, Elijah and Harleigh Belle Orr, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kody had some lifelong friendships and is survived by his best friend and business partner, Chris Easton. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Althea Pike, Grandmother Roslyn Durgin, and Durward Jr. and "Oma" Edith Carter. A Celebration of Life for Kody will be planned in Colorado Springs for family and friends in the future. He will be laid to rest in South Waterford, ME (date to be determined). In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or flower for his spirit (or free-spirit-heartedness), or donate to the Humane Society, so that his memory may continue to live on.
