Michael B. Jones

Michael Bernard Jones, 80, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 27, 2023, after an 11-year battle with multiple myeloma and COPD.
Mike was born In Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 11, 1942, to Jesse and Juanita Jones.
Mike graduated from Ohio State University with a BS degree in finance and also completed an MBA in finance from the University of Kentucky. He worked as a stockbroker for Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley for over 30 years prior to retiring in 1998.
He served his country as a LTJG in the US Navy from 1967-1969, during the Vietnam War.
Mike served as Board president of the Humane Society in 2001, and a board member in 2002. Mike was a lifetime member of the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. He also volunteered for the Arthritis Foundation. Mike enjoyed traveling, reading and was an avid lover of animals. He is survived by his sister, Leslie Jones and his loving wife, Emily Jones. Preceding Mike in death were his parents Juanita and Jesse Jones.
