Michelle Veronica Banks

Michelle Veronica Banks, age 57, of Colorado Springs, passed away on March 26, 2024 from a hemorrhagic stroke. She was born in South Africa and moved to the United States in 1999. She is survived by her four children: Barbara-Anne Tackett, Jason Crawford, Katherine Crawford, and Chadd Espin; her partner Lee Roundtree of 17 years; and her siblings, Alexander Banks, Pricella Nel, Patricia Weissenborn, Ethne Delport, and Fiona du Plessis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Banks, and her brother Dennis Banks. Michelle touched the lives of many people and will be remembered by all. She loved growing flowers and collecting figurines. She was a wonderful and unique artist and decorated her home with many of her beautiful pieces. She loved spending time in the kitchen, preparing food for others. She was deep into her faith and practiced it every day. Michelle had a deep soul and will be dearly missed.
