Roberta Paula Greene "Bertie"
January 15,1937-August 31, 2022
Bertie was born in Bay City, Michigan to Paul and Ellen Gilmore. She passed in Colorado Springs, Colorado surrounded by her family.
Bertie was proceeded in death by her parents, her son James Paul Greene, two grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
She is survived by her children; Sue (Bruce) Nadratowski, Vickie (Jim) Finkler, Tracy (Tim) Ponak, Bryan (Tammy) Greene, Debbie (Ruben) Ibanez, and Kellie (Darrell) Gallegos, twenty-three grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and ten great greatgrandchildren.
Bertie is also survived by her brother Kenny (Judy) Gilmore, and sister Dawn Ferguson-Prance, along with her kitty of nine years, Brody.
Bertie used her musical and creative talents to connect to those around her. Her charm and wit brought laughter and joy to many. Her connection to spirituality, her wisdom, and her open mindedness inspired her children and grandchildren to view the world and those in it with open minds and open hearts. She had an appreciation of the world and all it holds from Michigan lakes to Colorado mountains. She will be remembered by those who love her as a strong-willed woman who made an uplifting mark on the world.
