Stacey Davis Obituary

Stacey Rae (Ward) Davis, age 52 of Woodland Park, CO (formally of Moundsville, WV) died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at UC Health Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born on May 20, 1970, in Glen Dale, WV, the daughter of the late Richard "Dick" Ward and Margaret "Peggy" Barnum Ward.

Stacey completed her bachelor’s degree from Marshall University in 1992. She worked for Verizon for nearly 20 years where she held various managerial roles within the Global Support team, Partner Compliance and Technical Training Development. She was an avid animal lover and she'll be sorely missed by her dogs Drama, Chili, Cuz, Carlie Rae and cat, Ivy. Stacey loved the outdoors and was proud of personally maintaining her own 10‐acre ranch in Colorado. Stacey's vivaciousness and alluring personality quickly caught the attention of anyone who encountered her. Her bright aura lit up any room she entered. She lived life with passion, without fear or regret.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Ward. Survivors include her boyfriend, Ron Schulte of Woodland Park, CO; a sister Michele (Chuck) Duckworth of Moundsville; a niece, Mallory (Brian) Weeks of Canonsburg, PA; a nephew, Chase Duckworth of Pittsburgh, PA; a great‐ niece and great‐nephew, Everly and Baylor Weeks of Canonsburg, PA; an uncle, David Barnum of Willowick, OH; a cousin David (Saul) Meditz of Denver, CO; and several additional cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
